B.S., Ohio University, 1974

Phil Rollins received his B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 1974 and entered the USAF in 1975, flying the C-130H out of Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas. Upon leaving the Air Force, he flew corporate jets for Pneumo-Abex Corporation for 8 years in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and was the Director of Flight Operations for Leco Corporation for 22 years. He has 7 Type Ratings in various corporate jets including 5 different Dassault Falcons. During his career he has amassed 14,000 flying hours with 12,000 in corporate jets. Joining the University of Notre Dame in March of 2012 as the Operations Manager for the Airborne Aero-Optics Laboratory group, he has taken over the responsibility of managing its Falcon 10 research aircraft and ithe groups’ grants and day-to-day operations.
