Aaron Fassler

Biography

Aaron joined the Aero-Optics group in 2020 and works with Dr. Gordeyev. Having lived in Utah most of his life, he earned his B.S. from Utah State University in mechanical engineering with an aerospace focus. Among the many subjects he found an interest in were orbital dynamics, rocket design, and compressible flow. Aaron is pursuing his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering, focusing on hypersonic aero-optical performance. Aaron enjoys playing Warhammer 40K, spending time with his ferret Erin, and, when he is back home in Utah, skiing.
